Through participation in the sequence of Holy Week services, we share in Christ’s own journey. From the triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the institution of the Eucharist and the agony of Gethsemane on Maundy Thursday, to the cross of Good Friday. Then the darkness and emptiness of Holy Saturday gives way to the joy and wonder of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Night and the celebration of the empty tomb on Easter Morning.
May we all make the most of this Holy Week, joining in as much as we can as we are again invited to share in the deepest and most fundamental of Christian memories.
All are welcome – faithful, doubtful or just curious
